I’m raising awareness of our Green Doctor Hull project, which has recently secured funding from the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, to deliver 1000 home energy visits across the Hull region.

Green Doctor – free, impartial energy advice, home visits & telephone consultations, to help you save energy in your home, reduce your bills, access other services and available initiatives.
We are also happy to attend events, drop-In sessions, workshops, as well as delivering energy advice training to community groups & frontline workers.
I’m sure there are many circumstances when it would be beneficial for you to refer into us for a home visit or telephone consultation, here’s a list of some of the ways we support people:
A Green Doctor home visit Includes:
· An initial home visit with the potential for a follow-up visit if required
· Energy tariff advice, liasing with suppliers/switching
· Energy-efficiency advice (heating system use, appliance use, behavioural advice etc)
· Energy & water debt support (application support & fuel vouchers)
· Income maximisation
· Building fabric check (insulation, repairs etc)
· Damp, mould, condensation advice
· The supply and installation of small measures, LED’s, draught-proofing, reflective radiator panels
· Water support & advice (social tariff application support)
· Smart meter advice & application support
· Carbon Monoxide advice
· Fire safety/smoke alarm check & advice
· Support to access grants for larger measures, welfare support schemes, vouchers etc (application/referral support)
· Onward referrals for ‘extra’ support’ to relevant organisations e.g. housing provider, health related, food parcels, debt agency, hoarding, domestic violence, social prescribers, Fire hazards, safeguarding & more )
