This is the Care Quality Commission’s annual report State of Care 2022/23. This is CQC’s annual assessment of health and social care in England. It is a long report, but there are links on the opening page that will take you to the report summary and to various parts of the report so you can go to the part of the report that most interests you. It does detail the reasons for the current problems with the care system in England.
